Time is reserved for networking as well as a guided tour through the city of Wiener Neustadt. This day’s program will be finished by a Farewell Party. Shuttle busses will bring you back to Vienna or, if requested, directly to Vienna International Airport.
It is intended to include the Austria-India-Conference on Tribology 2019 (MaTri ’19) planned the same time as one of the conference sessions.
After a series of successful events in Wien and the “Vienna Region” is appointed once more to be the venue for the next ECOTRIB conference, following a certain tradition reminding on the “World Tribology Congress 2001”, Wien. Similarly to a previous ECOTRIB event in 2011 ECOTRIB 2019 will be hosted by the Association of Metal-Technology Industries, Austrian Economic Chamber, Wien.
The capital of Austria is located in the heart of Europe and one of the four official residences of the United Nations. The city welcomes millions of tourists every year with its proverbial Viennese hospitality. A couple of centuries Wien was the residence of the Habsburg dynasty and since that time Wien has a great diversity of magnificent historical buildings, churches and parks. Nowadays, Wien and the “Vienna Region” exhibit as well a modern architecture, high-tech industries, and education and research institutions, like the “Centre of Excellence of Tribology” in Wiener Neustadt (tour of labs will be scheduled), with many connections to the core tasks of tribology.
Deadline for submission of one page abstracts already past. In case of acceptance, the final version of the abstracts have to be edited according to the guide for authors that can be found on the con- ference homepage. Final abstracts should not exceed two pages.
All accepted papers (correctly formatted) will be published as abstracts (final version, 1 page max.) in the printed book of abstracts distributed to the participants at the conference.
